We're home + stuff

We got back home today from Palm Desert, California. It was a great vacation. Mainly because we were able to relax and not be in a hurry to do anything. We stayed in a super palatial resort. Marriott's Palm Desert Villas. Our patio was about 30 feet from the green on the 7th hole of one of the golf courses. (I didn't take my clubs cause just as I suspected it costs around $150.00 per round. ) We could sit there and watch duffers waste their money. That's not really true. I can be just as bad and still enjoy playing very much. (but not for that kind of money)
We went to a great show. It was the "Fabulous Follies" All the singers and dancers were at least in their sixties and many in their seventies and eighties. They had all been in compainies such as the Radio City Rockettes, etc. They were so good.
We also went to the "Living Desert". This was like a combination zoo and wild animal park. Not as big as the one in San Diego but really nice. We also went on a tram ride up to 8,000 + feet. It was a good experience. The other thing we did was go to the Redlands Temple. It is really beautiful. (Has lots of blue colors)
I need to update you on our ebay experience. I really got after the seller of the DVD Recorder. I sent many emails and threatened to open a dispute, etc. To make a long story short, we received an item on the 16th. It was new, in great shape with all parts, etc. They sort of wanted us to believe that it had just been in transit for a long time. However, I discovered that it had been shipped on the 13th!!! So I think my bugging them paid off.
We're anxious to hear all about your reunion. It was great to see the pictures, etc.

I am glad that you guys got to relax a little bit. Getting away can make the business of everyday life OK again (at least for a while). I am glad you finally got what you ordered on ebay. This week I ordered something from ebay and I got sent the wrong thing! They have been great about correcting their mistake though. I love you!

Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun. We had a similar ebay problem once. Cameron ordered a belt buckle and had to contact the seller multiple times before they actually shipped it to us. Other than that I haven't had many negative experiences buying things online.
