New google blog

We just switched to the new google blog system. Just don't ask why cause who knows.....it was available and we assume it's better.

Things are pretty much status quo here. Gpa's ears are still giving him fits. They've put him on steriods for the second time which helped last week but today (of course being Sunday when there are tons of personal interviews) he was pretty deaf. Gma was down in bed for two days with what the Dr called "the crud that's going around" Strange thing they had her gargling with equal mixture of Benedril liquid and Malox???? Worked pretty good.

Even with her voice going and my ears bad we had an excellent Sabbath day. Her lesson went very well and I had some super interviews. We have 7 attending our Temple Prep Class including a woman of 67 who want's to receive her endowments. I was set apart as a veil worker (not scheduled but authorized to work when I'm there). That should be a blessing.

Gma's first "Strenthening Marriage class for the Stake went well last Tuesday. It's really a class that the enjoys teaching. (Also she really is good at it)

Weather is good right now.....I have a tee time tomorrow if my lousy cold will clear up. (Probably go anyway.)

We have to say we really enjoyed our visit to Iowa and have 6 great grandchildren running around part of the time. Gma and I turned out to be pretty good "tickle monsters"

Well, hope the Sabbath was good for all of you......love you a lot

It is sad how seldom I talk to you lately. I am sorry that your ears are being so pesky. Life is never without bumps along the way, is it? I'll call you soon. Love, Ann

I'm glad you had a good Sunday. Mine was okay, but I always get nervous before I teach my lesson. I think it went well, but I felt like I was going to have a heart attack! Also, we had a great women's conference on Saturday. So I had a very spiritual weekend!

I'm usually nervous when I'm preparing but once I get started I'm OK. Thats neat to have such a spititual weekend. Did that help your nervousness at all?

It just occured to me that I've had a "few" years more experience and made most every mistake that can be made so don't have to be afraid of how to get out of it.
